- Payment is processed by Stripe — we do not store full credit card numbers

- Pages visited, reports viewed, and tool usage (for analytics and product improvement)
- Browser type, device type, and approximate location from IP address
- Session cookies for authentication (see our Cookie Policy)
3. How We Use Your Information
- Provide access to research reports, calculators, and membership features
- Process subscription payments and manage your Civic Research Plus account
- Send newsletter emails you opted into (unsubscribe anytime)
- Improve our research library and understand which content is most useful
- Respond to support requests and prevent fraud or abuse

- Stripe — payment processing for memberships
- Google — optional sign-in authentication
- MongoDB Atlas — secure database hosting for accounts
- Vercel — website hosting

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers listed above, when required by law, or to protect our rights and users' safety.

We retain account data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward. We use industry-standard security including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure password hashing. No online service is 100% secure.

- Request access to or correction of your personal data
- Delete your account by contacting us
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails via the link in any email
- Cancel your membership through the Stripe billing portal
